This September, of course I did less than during summer break because of school work. Here’s what I did this month including media fanart, personal art, and more designs

Media fanart

First I’ve been diving into fanart, especially for a show I really like called One Piece, which I’ve been obsessed with lately. Most of the fanart I’ve created this month is from that fandom, and most of the fanart I make of fandoms is free to use. I also draw other characters I like from other shows sometimes and you can recommend who you want to see drawn as well! I will link a page with all my fanart at some point and link it. I also wanted to make some silly items of my favorite media characters for personal use. I do not think I would ever sell them since I am not sure how to do that stuff.

I’ve been thinking about making custom keychains using Vograce (not just characters from shows but my own OCs as well). It sounds like a fun way to turn my art into tangible items like keychains or plushies for my friends and I to have. I’m still in the planning phase, but I’m excited about it! I plan to give my friend some on her birthday but it’s very far from now. I also finished up keychain style owed art but it is not a real physical keychain but just a 3d turn around GIF. Below are two examples and here is the link to the toyhou.se page for commissions too (not open as of now).

Next I’ve been trying to work on rendering more. It’s been a great way to practice and improve my skills. I’m experimenting with different techniques and styles, and it feels nice to see progress. One is an icon I made as an add-on for another character which I will put below. I tried playing around with color dodge and color filters in general for shading. I also attempted a paper cutout style but it still does not give the vibes i wanted it to. I’ll try again next month. Design-wise, I’ve been coming up with some new ideas. Most are just small doodles with one being more effort taking. I also did a small collab raffle with a friend of mine.  Unfortunately, I haven’t had much time for tweening this month because of school. It’s been taking up most of my time, but I’m hopeful I’ll find some time to get back to it soon. 

Overall, I didn’t do much thanks to school and I’m not super happy with it. I wish I had more time and I also need to think of something more creative for my posts since it is rather boring and is just me talking about basically the same thing.
